Job Description

Product Design Intern


Job Description: We are looking for a curious and hands-on Product Design Intern to join our design team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about form, function, and user experience, with an interest in bringing thoughtful and innovative products to life. You will support the team in concept development, prototyping, and refining product ideas across retail, furniture, and lifestyle categories.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ideating and sketching product concepts based on design briefs and user needs

  • Support in developing 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes

  • Conduct material and manufacturing research to inform design decisions

  • Help create presentations and documentation for internal and client reviews

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including spatial, brand, and sourcing


Suitable for Polydesigner/in 3D / Polydesigner 3D students



Required Skills

Technical Skills:

We’re looking for interns with a foundation in product design and a willingness to explore, iterate, and learn. Ideal technical capabilities include:

  • Familiarity with 3D modeling software such as Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or SketchUp

  • Basic knowledge of prototyping techniques and material exploration

  • Understanding of form, ergonomics, and user-centered design principles

  • Ability to communicate ideas through sketches, mock-ups, and simple renders

  • Interest in sustainability, innovation, and production processes

Soft Skills:
