Phantom Hands, established in Bangalore in 2014, is a design and craft driven contemporary furniture
maker. We collaborate with acclaimed international furniture and textile designers to create
contemporary designs that celebrate the craft traditions of India. With distribution in over 30 countries,
we are emerging as one of the few global design brands from India.
Our manufacturing facilities and offices are based in Abbigere Industrial area in Bangalore. We are a
team of over 100 people, including 70 skilled artisans in carpentry, upholstery tailoring, cane weaving,
etc., and a work culture that places a high priority on ethics, integrity and excellence.

Job Description

The job entails creating a system of graphics, typography and information design for the product packaging of all Phantom Hands projects. This includes company branding, graphic representation of packaged contents, various information labels for shipping/logistics, and information inside the box of the product. This requires a deep understanding of the company values, communication style, and existing style guides to create new design proposals. Eventually a strict system of graphics and production must be designed and defined for all the 100 products currently in the catalog - and more to come in the future.
