Job Description

As a Graphic Design Intern at Meiji Academy, you will be supporting the IT and media team by producing visual content for digital and print media, including social media graphics, marketing materials, and website assets. The goal is to make the visual experience and interface of the website accessible and create engaging graphic design for marketing materials.

The intern will assist with design revisions, brainstorm concepts, maintaining brand consistency, and managing digital files. Interns also learn to use industry tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

Main responsibilities:

Develop graphics for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Youtube)
Design and enhance email campaigns, flyers, brochures and presentations
Edit brochures and flyers with Adobe Creative Suite to change or add new information while maintaining brand identity
Assist the website designers and IT team with graphics and design input

Required Skills

Creativity, strong communication skills, and a good command of language
Strong English skills, no Japanese knowledge required
A good eye for graphics and design choices
Experience with creating graphics or designs for social media or websites is an advantage
