Job Description

As an IT intern at Meiji Academy you will perform a mix of technical support, system maintenance, and project-based tasks to build industry experience. Working closely with the IT team will help you learn new skills and explore the world of IT in an international company.

The main tasks include troubleshooting hardware/software, setting up workstations, managing user accounts (passwords), scripting/automation, documentation, assisting with network security audits, and testing software. Join us in a lively international environment to get invaluable job experience!

Main responsibilities:
  • Assisting staff with hardware, software, and network issues, including setting up workstations, installing software, and resetting passwords
  • Assisting in IT projects such as network upgrades, software migrations, or security audits.
  • Maintaining accurate records, documentation, and manuals, as well as providing support to team members
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues, including, but not limited to, printer issues and computer system errors
  • Researching new technologies, recommending solutions for technical problems, and learning about network administration

Required Skills

  • A logical, analytical approach to diagnosing issues
  • Ability to quickly pick up new technologies
  • Strong English skills, no Japanese knowledge required
  • Technical knowledge and basic programming skills are a strong advantage
