Job Description

Function:  Supply Chain/Purchasing Assistant-Support

 

  • Support Inventory Management for Goshen plant – raw materials (RM), packaging materials, finished goods and trade goods
  • Support the Procurement of RM, Packaging, FG and Trade goods following best practices regarding stock levels and risk mitigation activities
  • Process payables for inventory-related invoices (item and freight, duty, etc)
  • Import / Export responsibilities including documentation handling, customs clearance, etc
  • Manage emails and phone calls related to job functions
  • Daily entries in ERP system related to job functions
  • General administrative tasks such as filing, etc
  • Assist with the Monthly reporting for SCM
  • Regular inventory cycle count
  • Other supply chain tasks as needed

Required Skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of general purchasing/logistics methodologies
  • Ability to communicate between Production / Quality / Inside Sales / Finance and others as needed
  • Strong analytical and problem – solving abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Administrative or clerical  experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
