Company Profile

Param Is a Foundation Reimagining How India Experiences Learning, Culture, and Innovation.

Param is a transdisciplinary ecosystem and a collaborative platform that brings together science, history, art, culture, and technology to ignite curiosity, inspire collaboration, and create meaningful societal change.

At our core, we are community-builders — educators, artists, scientists, technologists, performers, and dreamers — united by a shared belief: knowledge should be lived, not just learned. We build science experience centres, design programs and facilitate innovation.

The Science vertical of Param (Param Innovation) is where the innovation lab resides. The robotics lab joins cutting edge science and technology with fun. Among other things, we create robots that have personalities, and engage with the public in multiple languages.

Job Description

Here are two potential projects:
Project 1: Embodied Robotic Character (Physical AI)

  • You will build an embodied robotic character for a Science Experience Center, where intelligence is expressed through real-time perception, motion, and behavior rather than scripts.
  • Implement closed-loop perception action systems
  • Develop a robot character layer where timing, movement, and responsiveness define personality
  • Deploy and validate interactions in live public environments

    Project 2: Plug-and-Play Robotic Environments & Stacks
  • You will develop Physical-AI–ready robotic software stacks that make robots easy to deploy, reuse, and extend.
  • Build modular, hardware-agnostic robot stacks integrating sensing, control, and interaction
  • Enable plug-and-play deployment across multiple robots and exhibit setup
  • Support rapid iteration and experimentation in real-world robotic environments
